We believe students thrive in classrooms where all learners belong, take ownership of their ideas and thinking, and have agency in how they learn. We strive for classrooms where all students engage in grade-level content and high-quality curricula with appropriate support.
Creating these classrooms and schools requires adults to work and learn differently than they typically do. And teachers improve best on behalf of students in cultures of collective efficacy. It is in these cultures that schools can address inequities and work towards more equitable outcomes.
